To anyone who is considering working with realtor, Nora Paulson,
Three years ago, my daughter and I made a stab in the dark or rather the yellow pages
in selecting a realtor. Since my daughter would be living in Ventura for three years
attending Brooks ( a photography school), we thought it prudent to buy a condo and
sell it at the end of that time.
What a providential selection Nora proved to be! She sent us maps of Ventura, emails
of possible condos, made several site visits with our 20 year old daughter who was given
the responsibility of picking the unit. Nora offered wise advice, and together they made
an excellent choice. Even over the the three years, she would keep in touch letting us
know how the market was doing. When we decided to sell, there was no question that she
would be our choice of realtor.
The market had begun to change, selling slowed, but Nora did not.
She put in a catchy description of our property, updated us as to the condition of our property
so that we could make need changes, offered plants and lamps of her own to show it better,
had open houses. We unexpectedly showed up for the last open house an suggested that we lower the price.
Barely hours passed before she had called all those who had seen the property the previous week
and alerted them to the lower price. It was that proactivity on her part that landed us the sale
just two days later.
We were never an easy client living on the opposite coast so papers had to be emailed and faxed,
but she handled it all expeditiously and with good humor. Even when a gas leak was discovered just
before closing requiring a construction worker, she arranged for it all and handled the billing
with integrity and professionalism.
Nora is the best of the best. By the way, we made a nice profit.
